Instert Art History Unit!
Cubism is an intellectual approach to art whereby the artist attempts to depict an object from several different angles in one composition They accomplish this by breaking down the object to its most basic shapes, formes and lines. Traditionally, Picasso and Braque used neutral monotone colour schemes, but you have artistic freedom in this.
Begin by making several studies of your object from many angles.
From those drawing, find interesting lines and shapes to collage together to create a cubistic expression of your object.
OR you may have photocopies of your sketches made and you can cut and paste a rough draft. Then trace it out onto good copy paper.
Colour your art with a colour scheme of your choice using pencil crayons.
