Some Media have been filled in for you, but there are two free choices. Try making art with something not covered in class. See hand out package for suggestions.
LEVEL 1
My ideas are not original, I’m copying someone else's art.
Or my ideas are cliche/basic/lack detail/deep thought.
LEVEL 2
My ideas are not original, I’m appropriating someone else's art.
Or my ideas are cliche/basic/lack detail/deep thought.
LEVEL 3
My ideas are original.
My ideas are simple and not very complicated.
LEVEL 4
My ideas are original and thought provoking.
My ideas express deeper thought, messaging, knowledge, understanding.
STEP 3: Now sketch out a rough drawing for each side of your cube.
You'll get higher marks if you experiment with the media you plan to use.
***Remember, your art should be clearly showing a principal affecting the paired element.
LEVEL 1
My rough drawings are messily scribbled, hard to understand.
LEVEL 2
My rough work is kinda messy, and I only used pencil in my planning.
LEVEL 3
My rough drawings are drawn with some care. I experimented with different media a little.
LEVEL 4
Each of my rough drawings have been done with great care and extensive use of each media.
STEP 4/5: While you are creating the good copy artwork in class, you will be constructing a cube at home. See image for details on how your cube might be used to display your art.
***The majority of the artistic creation should be completed in class.
You will present your cube using the analysis as your script to the class.
Your name will be added to a random wheel selector.
May the odds be ever in your favour!
